CleanSky2 Project As part of a call for proposals from the European CleanSky2 Committee, CGX AERO was selected on the subject "Innovative validation methods and tools for FMS", carried by Thales AVS

The overall goal of this project is to provide a complete validation chain for flight procedures stored in navigation databases, from publication to loading in the FMS, thus helping to break the opaque wall that separates AIS from integration field.

This project allows CGX AERO, on the one hand, to bring a new dimension to flight procedure design task by comparing the nominal works with the trajectories actually simulated and flown, and on the other hand to synergize these works with software edition.

Upgrades and optimization of the heliport of Brest CHRU

CGX AERO has been appointed last July by the CHRU of Brest to carry out a study of standards and optimization of the heliport of the site of the White Cavalry,

which no longer meets the needs of the various actors of the platform. The objective is to define the infrastructure needed to accommodate the various helicopters, on a new site, while limiting the impact on the existing installation during the works. The project was presented to the CHRU team, the stakeholders and Civil Aviation, which must now submit its opinion.

CGX, partenaire des aéroports dans le cadre de leur conformité EASA

The CGX Airport team is continuing to support French airports to comply with EASA standards. After having accompanied the airports of Dole, Rodez, Carcassonne, Cayenne, Deauville, Metz-Nancy-Lorraine, Pierrefonds, Vatry until obtaining their certificate, CGX now offers its expert services to certified airports.

These can be EASA compliance audits, such as for Toulouse-Blagnac, Nice, Pointe à Pitre or Montpellier Airports, or change management support, as for the Biarritz Airport which will carry out the rehabilitation of its runway early 2019. In this case, CGX is responsible for demonstrating the compliance of the project with the regulatory framework, but also for analyzing the associated risks in terms of operational safety (in particular for the works phase). Our team also performs an analysis of regulatory changes (infrastructure part) for the Francophone airports, which allows all the airports of the association, whatever their size, to have a detailed analysis of the expected requirements and demonstrations.
